Healthwatch Focus Groups

The first focus group with key stakeholders in the development of Local Healthwatch in Portsmouth was held yesterday in the Guildhall cafe.  The event raised some interesting discussions as attendees discussed themes aound 4 questions:

• What would a good health and social care ‘consumer advice service’ look like?

• How can we make sure Local Healthwatch is able to represent the views of everyone in ways that suit them?

• How can we ensure everyone can access Local Healthwatch? 

• How can we ensure Local Healthwatch can influence the people and organisations that make decisions about health and social care services?
