The Parent and Carer Board are a group of motivated and passionate parents and carers, working together with services to make decisions for children and
young people.



We have been working with the education service to get parents involved in the
‘Raising the standard’ campaign as part of the new schools strategy.
The meeting will open with an overview of the strategy before we look at
education in Portsmouth in closer detail.
We’ll be asking for your top tips to support children’s learning at home and
these will be published in the local media. The meeting will culminate with the
raising of Portsmouth’s new learning flag in the main Guildhall Square.
